This Thanksgiving was our first year hosting it at our house! We were so excited to be able to have most of my family coming over to celebrate with us. We really wish our house was bigger so we could have had Vic’s family over as well. They are about 50, so they definitely don’t fit and we really did miss them. But we were able to have a small and cozy Thanksgiving meal with people we love and cherish. We are so grateful for all the blessings we have and all the ways we have seen God’s hand in our lives. We are extremely grateful for both of our families and all the constant love and support they show us. Maybe it’s the holiday season, but we have realized that family is the most important thing anyone can have and we are both blessed with some pretty great ones.
This is my first Thanksgiving table decor and I am pretty impressed with myself! It took me some time but I am so happy with how everything came together! Vic helped of course :)And then the cooking began! My dad and brother… Aren’t they handsome :)Peanut gets ALL the attention whenever we get together He is also the entertainment! Yes, we have managed to teach him how to pray :)My mom made that turkey and it tasted as good as it looks! Notice Jonathan in the background hahahaA little dancing while waiting to serve themselves dinner. These two are like kids when they get together! The one on the right is my dad photobombing the picture! Now you see where my brother and I get it from? Peanut loves my brother! He takes care of him almost every time we go out of town and for that we are so grateful.
Pumpkin pie who? Vic makes the most amazing flan EVER!
This is some of my beautiful family who I am ever so grateful for! Always clowning around! This is what I am most grateful for! God has blessed me with our little family who I love more than words could ever express!
Happy Friday everyone!
