There are so many things we could say about this day and this couple! Their easygoing, fun, and laid-back personalities made them an absolute joy to photograph and work with. They have a passion to care and serve others, which is evident in the careers they have both chosen as a police officer and a nurse. Amy and Matt’s priority on their wedding day and that was to enjoy the time they had with family and friends celebrating their love. And that love was so evident in the tears that fell throughout this day. Matt couldn’t hold back the emotions as he saw his beautiful bride for the first time during their first look and then again and she walked down the aisle. They were the sweetest moments and we’re so glad we were there to witness it all!

We started the day at Matt and Amy’s home with Amy and her bridesmaids, and family. We were greeted with warm embraces and excitement and the sweetest gift from Amy for our little girl. It still astounds us when a bride on her wedding day, give us a gift, and we couldn’t be more grateful for some of the sweetest brides ever! It was our first time shooting at The Old Grove and we loved how quaint and beautiful it is (And the fact that you could smell the cinnamon buns from neighboring Knaus Berry Farms was an added bonus! Haha!) Although it began to rain right after their first look, this didn’t change their joy and excitement one bit and thankfully it stopped only a short while later! This wedding was full of love, laughter, and all around fun and we’re so excited to be sharing some of our favorites from Amy and Matt’s big day with you all!

Amy and Matt, we cannot thank you enough for allowing us to capture such a special day in your lives! We had the best time and we wish you both the very best on this new journey called marriage! Welcome to the married club :)
