Just getting back from vacation and starting this week off right by reliving this beautiful elopement! Jessica and Addison are seriously such a wonderful couple with an amazing connection and we’re so glad they chose us to capture their special day. They went through so much to get to this day and everyone was just so thrilled that their wedding had finally arrived! Since Addison is starting school in the fall, they decided to forego the big wedding, and opted for a small elopement with just their parents and Jessica’s grandmother there to witness their union. They’re from Ohio but chose to elope here in South Florida because they fell in love with the area when they visited last year. When we met via Zoom with them before their wedding day, we talked through the plan for their elopement and helped them plan it all out!

We started the day at Hotel Arya where Jessica and Addison got ready. Jessica was having issues with stomach ulcers and was not feeling well at all. It broke our hearts to see her that way but thankfully after some rest, she started feeling so much better before we were going to get her dressed. She was supposed to build her own bouquet from flowers from Trader Joes but was feeling too weak. She almost gave up on having a bouquet but we couldn’t let her go throughout this special day without it! I’m no florist, but I love arranging flowers and with her mom’s help, we built her a bouquet! After their getting ready photo, we did their first look on a terrace and headed to Vizcaya for their portraits. We almost didn’t make it into Vizcaya but thankfully the  staff was still at the window at let us onto the property! It was a close call and there was a slight moment of panic for the 4 of us but we got in and these images turned out gorgeous! We then headed to Crandon Park to get thesetwz officially married under the beautiful tree with their families there as witnesses! So much joy and love was felt throughout this day and were so honored we got to be the ones to photograph these moments for Jessica and Addison!
