They met 11 years ago in a high school classroom in North Carolina, never thinking that one day they may be getting married. Falling in love was easy, but having a long distance relationship can be hard. Taylor lives in Gainesville, Florida as she complete her residency at a local hospital. Mike lives in Cleveland, Ohio and owns his own small business. They are tying the knot in North Carolina next summer, but decided on their engagement session here in Miami at one of our favorite spots, Vizcaya. (Talk about a whole lot of travel!)

It’s funny how they told us that they have been in a long-distance relationship for a while, but it was as if they’ve been together everyday for all 11 years. Their chemistry together was something straight out of a fairytale and watching them giggle and talk together was the sweetest thing. I think our favorite thing about engagement sessions is the excitement and buzz in the air as a couple realizes that they are going to get married. Taylor and Mike had this amazing energy and they were so sweet with each other and with us! We are thrilled to have been a part of their engagement session and a part of this beautiful season in their lives! Here are some of our favorites from their Vizcaya engagement session!

When this is one of the first shots of the session, you know it’s going to be a good one! :)Definitely one of our best dressed couples! Taylor, your smile is so contagious!
