Even though we primarily shoot weddings and engagement session, we truly love maternity sessions as well! There’s something about the joy and expectation of pregnancy that we love to capture. We can now say that we know exactly what our maternity clients are feeling because we were right there in their shoes a year ago. Brooke and Dan are expecting a baby boy in a few weeks and we couldn’t be more excited for these first time parents! These two endured the insane Miami heat last Monday when we captured their maternity session at Vizcaya and took it like champs. Also, let’s talk about how amazing she looks at almost 38 weeks pregnant!

We decided on a morning shoot to try and get around the even more brutal afternoon heat, but the temperatures were still in the 90’s with it feeling like 100! We walked around the gardens that were virtually empty and pretty much had the entire place to ourselves. Brooke and Dan were naturals in front of the camera and you can tell how excited they are to begin their journey as a family of 3. Their sweet boy has no idea how lucky he is to have such kind and wonderful parents!
