They met in 7th grade at a basketball game through mutual friends. Becuase she was shy and no one introduced them, she made the first move and bought him a lollipop. So maybe we can say that a lollipop started it all ;) Shelby and Nate remained friends all throughout middle school and high school and during their senior year of high school they started dating and have been together ever since. They went to different colleges and have had a long distance relationship since the beginning of their college years. But their love has overcome the distance and now they are getting married next May!

Our time together was full of laughter and fun! These two are the sweetest souls and we just loved every minute spent with them. The saddest part of last Thursday was the fact that we now have to wait an entire year to get Shelby and Nate in front of our cameras again for their wedding day! But we’re so happy we got to capture their sweet love in this season of their lives and that they got to be together for a little while before they go back to being long-distance until they get married next May. We’re excited to share some of our favorites from Shelby and Nates West Palm Beach engagement session with you all today!

Look at these two cuties! They are the cutest together! We’ve never seen Worth Avenue so empty and it worked to our advantage :) This teal door has always been one of our favorite spots on Worth Avenue! This ring is perfection and so are these two! All the twirly dress shots! And then we wrapped up the session at the courtyard of Bethesda by the Sea Church! LOVE the architecture here!
