They are high school sweethearts who started out as best friends. Cailin and Ben met through mutual friends and those first few years of high school, they were so close but it wasn’t until almost the end of high school that they made it official and started dating. We believe some of the best relationships start out as friendships and these two are proof of that. They ended up going to the same university and after graduating college, moved back to the Boca Raton area where they both grew up. This past 4th of July weekend their families took a big trip together to Wilmington, NC and Cailin spent the entire time wondering and watching for signs of a proposal happening! No one slipped up and after a week of being there, she pretty much had lost any hope of leaving there with a ring on her finger. But on the very last day of the trip, Ben took her out on the boat and proposed on a private little island with their family close by to witness it!

Fast forward to this past week and we got the chance to get together with them for their engagement session! They brought their pup with them and we truly had the best time with so many laughs. We instantly clicked and loved capturing their connection as a couple! Maybe it’s because their love is over a decade in the making, but it was just effortless and easy to photograph Cailin and Ben together. We are SO excited for their June wedding next year and can’t wait to get to hang out with them again! Here are some faves from their Worth Avenue engagement session…
