It all started in college. They were both part of a Christian sorority and fraternity at UF and their houses were hosting a fun scavenger hunt. Emily wanted nothing to do with Michael at first, but thanks to her sister’s persuasion she went out with him that night. Something felt right and they just clicked, so for the rest of the entire semester they spent all their free time together. And not long after he asked her to be his girlfriend. From there he joined the armed forces and they’ve had a long distant relationship for the past few years.
So besides the fact that these two are absolutely beautiful people inside and out, they have so much joy when they are together. We have never laughed so hard during an engagement session (even at 7 am)! And although I am really not a morning person (no matter how hard I try to be) these two made our time with them during their sunrise engagement oh so amazing. Maybe it was the fact that they were finally reunited after such a long distance between them, or they are simply that much in love, but they made waking up before the sun absolutely worth it! We loved our time with Emily and Michael so much and we are excited to share some of our favorites from this past Sunday’s sunrise photos with you all today!
