It’s couples like Marietta and Brandon that make our job as photographers easy and not seem like a “job” at all! When we started their engagement session, they said they were nervous and had never done this before. But as soon as we directed them to the very first pose, we began to doubt what they told us. From the start, they were experts and complete naturals in front of the camera! Laughing and giggling without being prompted and exuding so much joy that our cheeks began to hurt within the first 10 minutes of our time together. They’re the type of couple that are easy to be around and you just want to be friends with and we’re truly honored to capture their sweet love!

They’ve lived in 3 different states already but are settling here in Florida with no plans to leave. They met in Iowa during their junior year of college, moved to Nebraska for a few years, and have been inseparable ever since. They spent Labor Day weekend together at one of their favorite resorts in Boca and that’s where Brandon decided to pop the question. They took a walk in the evening on a secluded path and it was there that he got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. Now in February of 2020, they’re tying the knot and making it official! We can’t wait for their wedding day, but for now, we’re sharing some favorites from their House of Refuge engagement photos with you all today!
