They met 8 years ago in college through one of Addison’s fraternity brothers. He mentioned to this mutual friend that he liked Jessica and asked him to invite her to the house. They met and instantly hit it off, something just clicked! They were studying the same thing and had so many common interests, which made their connection instant and easy. Aside from the three years they spent long distance as Jessica finished college, they’ve been inseparable since the moment they met. Last year, Addison decided it was time to propose and he decided to do so right before a trip to Florida (and we literally mean right before!) They were leaving their apartment to go to the airport to fly down here and he told Jessica that she forgot something in the apartment. When she turned around, he was down on one knee and proposed to her right on the doorstep literally moments before traveling. She, of course, said yes and from there they began planning their elopement here in Florida.

The day before their elopement, we got a chance to spend some time with them for their engagement session. They went through a lot to get to this point including a missed flight, barely any sleep, and some stomach issues for Jessica that left her not feeling so well. But you would have never guessed with the way these two killed it during our time together! And our favorite thing about this session was the fact that as we helped pose and guide them, they were whispering to each other how much they loved each other. They were interacting, smiling, snuggling and seriously being so natural in front of the camera. Once we spend the afternoon with them, we knew that their elopement the next day was going to be absolutely AMAZING!
