For the past few weeks, it’s been raining non-stop. And when we say raining, we mean thunderstorms with pouring rain all day long! We’ve had to reschedule so many of our sessions over the past 2 weeks but we’re thankful that last Thursday the rain decided to give us a break and we were able to capture Laura and Danny’s anniversary session! Laura reached out to us late last year to set up this session to celebrate 5 years of marriage. Complete with the yummiest vegan cupcakes (which they graciously shared with us) and celebratory champagne, we loved every minute of our time with these two!

We’ve said it countless times, but we truly love anniversary sessions. Maybe it’s because we love celebrating marriage, or because we know what happens in your heart when you go through so many years of being husband and wife. Maybe it’s because it’s an amazing thing to stay married and chose to love one another despite all the ups and downs of life. Being married ourselves and knowing the sacrifice and compromise that goes into being married, makes us love anniversary sessions that much more.

And when we see a couple like Laura and Danny, we know for a fact that their bond is stronger now than the day they got married. Their love was evident from the moment we started and we could not be more grateful to have been a part of this amazing five-year anniversary session! We’re excited to share some of our favorites with you all today!

Just look at these cuties! Laura is just a beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside! Guys, these vegan cupcakes from Parlour Bakery were AMAZING! We don’t get tired of shooting at House of Refuge! We are fully convinced that this piece of driftwood was perfectly placed here for us! SO much joy! We loved that they were willing to get wet for the perfect shot! And then we popped some celebratory champagne and cheered to 5 years of marital bliss! We just love these two! He always manages to make me extremely nervous by standing on the very edge! 

Laura and Danny, congratulations on five amazing years of love and marriage! We loved our time with you both and being able to capture your love was such a treat! We wish you both many more years of happiness and love :)
