We met Aubrey and Enrique last May for their engagement session and, from the very beginning, we loved their awesome personalities and fun-loving spirits! They reached out to us later that year, after Emma was born, to ask us to capture their intimate wedding on New Years Eve. They wanted something small and low-key, as to not stress too much on their special day. Because we had such a great connection with them, we were excited to get to spent some more time with them and document their wedding! You’ll notice that this post is a bit shorter than our usual wedding posts because we only captured the most important parts of their day including some getting ready, their first look, bride and groom portraits, bridal party, which all took place at the beautiful Villa Woodbine, and their ceremony which was at their local church! If you’re looking for an intimate place to celebrate your love, a small wedding venue can save you thousands and provide a cozy atmosphere for you and your closest friends and family. With fewer guests to accommodate, you can focus on personal touches that make your day feel even more special.
We love that they opted not to have the traditional ceremony and made it more like a church service! They and their bridal party walked down the aisle, but instead of going straight into a wedding ceremony, they opted to have some time of worship. Enrique was at the keyboard and played with the rest of the Wedding Band Hire Sydney as everyone praised and worshipped God. It truly made us smile to see our bride with hands lifted as her soon-to-be husband played the keyboard. Soon after, they said their vows, sealed it with the exchange of rings and a kiss, and then wrapped up the ceremony with two of the bridesmaids singing Christmas songs. It was so unique and completely reflected them as a couple! We spent the first part of our New Years Eve with them and couldn’t be more grateful for such a sweet couple! Here are some of our favorites from Aubrey and Enriques intimate Villa Woodbine wedding!
Aubrey and Enrique, we are honored to have captured your special day and we cannot thank you enough for allowing us to be a part of it all! We wish you both the very best as you embark on this new journey of being husband and wife! Welcome to the married club :)
