They traveled all the way from Germany for their engagement session in Naples with us! Yes, friends, you read that right… Germany! You see, they come to Naples, Florida almost every year for vacation and love this awesome little town so much. In the spring of 2020, Julia and Patrick will be tying the knot at the very place her parents got married in Naples many years ago! Because she practically spent all her life visiting Florida, she felt it was right to marry her best friend here. But before they can get married, we were so glad we could coordinate a date for us to meet them in Naples for their engagement session while they were visiting before their wedding. They even brought us some authentic German treats and a traditional German dress for Emma! By the end of the session, we felt like we had finally met our long-lost friends.

Julia and Patrick met through her sister and fiancé 6 weeks before Julia moved to New York for school. They dated long distance for 2 years while she completed her masters and Patrick would fly from Germany to visit her as often as possible during their time apart. They said that during that time of dating long distance, they really knew it was true love and wanted to be together. She moved back to Germany after she finished school and in January of this year Patrick proposed. He took her to Switzerland for the weekend and while they were on a boat ride on the river, he got down on one knee as asked her to marry him. As we spent time with them during their engagement session this past Saturday, we could see just how very much in love they are! We wish we could hang out with them all the time and are just so excited for their wedding next April! We love these two and we hope you can get to know them a bit better through these images!
