palm beach engagement photos

We’ve been photographing so many high school sweethearts lately and we are here for it! Alexa and Frank are high school sweethearts who started dating the summer before their senior year. They continued dating long-distance through college while she studied in Alabama and he stayed here in northern Florida for college. Last year they were finally able to buy a house together at Canary Wharf apartments and no longer have to have a long distance relationship!

In June, Frank decided to pop the question as they went to watch the sunrise, have breakfast, and visited a lighthouse. At the top of the lighthouse, he proposed and now they’re getting married in early 2024! Before we get to their wedding day next year, we got to get together with them for their engagement session this past Saturday. It’s our favorite part of the wedding planning process with our couples because it’s the best way to get to know each other before the big day!

As Alexa and Frank begin this exciting new chapter, they’ll no doubt be navigating new challenges together — from managing finances to balancing busy schedules. While their strong foundation as high school sweethearts is a beautiful start, investing time in open communication and understanding will be key to keeping their bond strong. For couples like Alexa and Frank, exploring marriage counselling early on can be a proactive way to build stronger communication skills, improve conflict resolution, and ensure they’re aligned on important life goals. It’s not just for when things get tough — counselling can provide couples with helpful tools to maintain a healthy, thriving relationship as they continue building their life together.

Alexa and Frank decided to come to Worth Avenue for their engagement photos and brought along their sweet pup Nellie for part of it! She was such a good girl and completely stole the show every time she was in the photo. Alexa and Frank did absolutely amazing during our time with them! We repeatedly asked them if they were practicing in front of the mirror before the session because they really were *that* good! They made our jobs so easy as you could see their chemistry and love every time they were close. We laughed a whole lot and truly had such a blast with them both! Here are some of our faves from their Palm Beach engagement session!

Alexa and Frank, we are so glad we got to get to know you both better through your engagement session! The only thing that makes us sad is now having to wait until 2024 to get to have you both in front of our cameras again. We are honored to be your wedding photographers and can’t wait for the big day next February :)
