They met in college while at UF back in 2017 and hit it off right away! They ended up on the same spring break trip with all their friends and pretty much were inseparable the entire time. Fast forward to 2020, they both graduated from UF and moved in together while JT worked on his masters and then PhD. And in 2024, he decided to ask Tara to marry him while they were skiing on vacation in Lake Tahoe. This wedding has been a long time in the making and you could feel the joy and excitement that their special day was finally here! Tara and JT have a beautiful chemistry and love being goofy and having fun together. They were literally giddy around each other and we had such a blast throughout their wedding day.

From the invitations that Tara designed herself, to the elegant and classic florals, and everything in between, no detail was spared! And there was no shortage of sweet and emotional moments including the first look Tara had with her dad and her and JT’s first look. Even the thunderstorm that was on the forecast during ceremony didn’t put a damper on their excitement! Thank God it blew through right before and we even got the most beautiful light for portraits on the Honeyfitz! This was such a special and sweet wedding day and we are SO honored we got to be the photographers for this amazing couple. Here are just some of our faves from their Pelican Club wedding
