The curveballs that Alex was thrown while planning this proposal were insane but with the help of his family and Clara’s family, he pulled it off without a hitch! The original plan was to propose to Clara in front of a beautiful Banyan tree in a nearby park in Fort Lauderdale and then hop on a water taxi with both their families and coast around the inlet while the sun was setting. Unfortunately, the pouring rain put a stop to his plan so at the last minute we worked together to come up with an alternate plan that included proposing indoors at the Ritz Carlton Ft. Lauderdale. He rented out a small room in their restaurant, had his mom help him and make floral arrangements and put together a beautiful setup to propose! Clara was shocked and so excited to finally be getting married and when their families rushed in after the big moment, you could feel how excited everyone was for the both of them! It was so sweet to see both their families just so overjoyed for this occasion! We were able to pop outside and get them some pictures on the beach that they really wanted for just a few minutes when the sky opened up before the next set of showers. You can even see the dark clouds in some of the pictures as the rain rolled in! But no amount of rain could put a damper on the love and joy these two radiated!
