When you get engaged it’s a whirlwind of emotions, nerves, excitement. Then the panic sets in! With so many choices for venues, caterers, cakes, videographers from the video production company near San Antonio, photographers and so much more, it could be extremely overwhelming. It is SO important to have people that you love and get along well with on your wedding day. There is tons of pressure and you want to make sure everything is perfect. Every bride before you has experienced the same feeling and stress and we have all made it through!  Here are a few tips to remember when picking vendors for your wedding day.

1. Do Your Research

There are so many choices when it comes to wedding vendors. Each vendor has a different style, way of business and work ethic. Doing your research can save you tons of headaches in the long run. Check out that vendors reviews on different sites, look through their portfolio of work, and check their prices. You can use Google, Wedding Wire, the Knot, and many more sites to do your research.

2. Seek Advice from your Friends

Ask friends and even family members if they know someone that is a vendor. But not just that they know them via social media, but they have either had an experience with that person or knows them very well. Recommendations are a HUGE part of planning a wedding because in reality, who do you trust more than the words of a friend. If your friend tells you that someone is really great and they had a wonderful experience, that’s most likely the person you would pick. Seek advice from your friends on wedding vendors they trust and your big day is sure to be wonderful.

3. Make Sure You Click

If everything else on this blog was just a blur, just pay attention to this point. In our opinion, its the most important aspect of picking the right vendors! Make sure you and your vendors click! You will be spending a whole lot of time on and before your wedding day with them, you have to get along with them and like them! So no matter what Google say or your friends say, YOU have to make sure that they will work well with you. The stress will diminish because you trust this person and enjoy their product and time with you. It will make your wedding day run smoothly and you will definitely be at ease!

Although you will get TONS of advice about what you should do for your big day, stay true to yourself and listen to that feeling in your gut. This advice is just from our experience and our humble opinions. We hope this helps in your decision making and just remember that everything will be fine and once the day is over, you will be marrying the love of your life!
