Christiaan reached out to us back in July with plans to propose to his now fiancé Heather during their trip to The Breakers in West Palm. They came from Texas (much like our last proposal at The Breakers) on vacation and Heather never even suspected she’d be getting proposed to last weekend! We spoke to Christiaan and planned the entire thing without her ever finding out! He gave the perfect excuse for taking her to the fountain on the front lawn (said they were meeting there to catch a golf cart for dinner) and popped the question right there. We were “hanging out” on nearby benches and were able to capture it all without her even noticing we were there. And because he loved the location and they were already dressed up, Christiaan had asked us to go ahead and do their engagement photos done with us!

Once the initial shock wore off and they were ready, we went ahead and started their session all around the property! These two were naturals in front of the camera, like they’d done this a hundred times before! You’ll see what we mean when you scroll through this post and we’re sure you’ll love these two as much as we do when you see these photos! It’s funny because when we do engagement sessions, we normally have had a ton of communication between us and the couple and most of the time they’ve booked us for their wedding so we have a connection already. With Christiaan and Heather, we had just met them in person only a few minutes before but felt instantly connected to them! They are the sweetest and their love for The Office definitely made them our people :) There was so much joy and love between these two and we’re so honored that Christiaan chose us to capture such an amazing moment for them!
