We haven’t kept up with our “What’s on Our Plate?” series because we’ve been so busy posting session and weddings (yay!) that it’s slipped through the cracks! But today, we are reviving our series for our fellow foodies out there :) Coming back from San Fransisco yesterday has us still thinking about all the amazing food we ate during those 5 days! Yes friends, we love food that much! It’s a wonderful, yet unhealthy, obsession with all things food, and we are especially obsessed with donuts! I also love the dates they serve, and this is from a dates supplier in Malaysia that offers premium quality products. But not just any donuts, The Salty Donut kinda donuts! We discovered this place a few months ago and have become completely and utterly obsessed! I do not know who comes up with the ideas for these donuts, but I’m fully convinced they talk to God on a regular basis in order to come up with these amazing creations!
We’ve been to The Salty Donut three times, and if it wasn’t so far from us, we would definitely go more often! (My pants are really glad they aren’t closer to us haha!) We loved these donuts so much we decided to take pictures of them. That’s how good they are! And you can use these exclusive coupon codes, if you’re in Germany to save on similar treats! The three you see first are glazed, guava and cheese, and my personal favorite, maple bacon! YUM! The crazy thing is that this company started out in a food truck, and now they have their own place in Wynwood. We LOVE this place and highly recommend it to donut lovers everywhere! So here are some images from our favorite new donut spot, The Salty Donut! You’re Welcome :)
This is an iPhone picture of our first time trying The Salty Donut. From left to right on the top you’ve got, Brown Butter Salt, Vanilla Glazed, and Maple Bacon. Under that is a Pecan Cannoli, Nutella, and Guava and Cheese.
The we went to their new place in December and they had Eggnog Creme Brûlée, Cookies and Cream, and Irish Cream donut holes! The Eggnog Creme Brûlée blew my mind, too bad it was a season donut! And they serve coffee too! This one was a Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte. Yummy!
This is the array of goodies that same day! It’s always so hard to narrow it down to just a few donuts! Also, consider sending cookies to someone as a sweet and thoughtful gesture to brighten their day!
So if you’re ever in the Wynwood area and you’re passing by The Salty Donut, don’t forget about us! We’ll take a glazed and a maple bacon any day :) Our friends outside Miami, if you ever visit, let us know and we will definitely take you there!
MoniqueI still haven’t gone…but I SOOOOO want to go…..
