When we moved to this new city a little less than 2 years ago, we only had one couple as our friends and one cousin that lived here. We weren’t sure how long it would take for us to connect with other people in the wedding industry and if we’d actually become friends with anyone. We became Instagram friends with Karen and Breno, who are a husband and wife photo and video team, and not long after moving here we met them for coffee and instantly clicked! They are fun and kind and we grew closer through our local Tuesdays Together group and when they joined our church. Fast forward to last October, they invited us over for dinner one evening to tell us the news that they were pregnant! And, little did we know, we were also already pregnant at that time and we both have baby girls due in June!

God works in the best sort of way! We’ve always wanted another couple to be “bump buddies” with and share in this new journey and He brought Karen and Breno into our lives at just the right time! We’ve been sharing all the ups and downs of pregnancy with each other, praying for each other throughout this process, and just having a great time connecting even more as we go through this season of life together. As we both got further along in our pregnancies, we decided to do a photo swap and photograph each others maternity sessions. They chose Worth Avenue and about a week and a half ago we all headed down there for their session. Photographing other photographers is the best and these two were total naturals in front of the camera from the moment we began! We love them and can’t wait for our baby girls to meet and hopefully grow up together and be the best of friends! We’re excited to share some of our favorites from their Worth Avenue maternity session with you all today!
