Last year we spent the afternoon with this couple on a beach not too far from this one for their engagement session! Jennifer and Ryan were supposed to get married last year in the spring but have had to postpone their wedding twice now. They opted to get married on their original wedding date and push their big celebration to this September! But God had other plans and blessed them with a sweet little boy due at the end of October! They’ve postponed their wedding to next May and will now have their son there to celebrate with them! Fun fact: We are actually due one week apart from each other :) We loved connecting with them during their engagement session, so when Jennifer reached out to ask us to capture their maternity photos, we were overjoyed!

They decided to have their photos at House of Refuge and both the tide and the wind were in our favor! When there is low tide, this beach is absolutely STUNNING and has the coolest rock formations appear! We were in heaven and loved spending the afternoon with them once again last week! We’re always so honored when our couples come back to us to capture these big life moments. One of the coolest parts was the fact that we’re also pregnant and we were literally able to model the poses for them :) Jennifer and Ryan are going to be the best parents to their little man and we are so excited to see them start this amazing ride of parenthood! We’re also excited to be sharing some favorites from their House of Refuge maternity pictures with you all today!

Jennifer and Ryan, thank you both SO much for allowing us to capture this beautiful milestone in your lives! Becoming parents is the biggest blessing and we can’t wait to see you both walk in this new season! We know this little boy is already so loved :)
