They’ve been together since they were both in high school almost 20 years ago, which is not something you hear of very often anymore! Livy and Ricky have been married 8 years and we loved capturing their anniversary session this past Saturday. They haven’t had photos taken since they got married all those years ago so they were due for some updated images to commemorate their love! We have always said that we love anniversary sessions because there’s something special about capturing mature love that’s seen the ups and downs of life. These two have been together most of their lives and it shows. Their connection is undeniable and so beautiful to be able to photograph!

They decided they wanted to do their session at one of our most requested locations, Worth Avenue. We walked around, getting to know them and chatting about life, stopping here and there to snap some photos. They did AMAZING during our time together! So much so, that another guy who was doing couples photos with another photographer and literally stood behind us and watched them telling us “I was told to take notes cuz I’m not very good at this” Definitely one of the most interesting things that’s happened to us during a session haha! We loved our time with Livy and Ricky and are honored that they asked us to photograph them to commemorate all the years they’ve been together!
